As I take on the role of Interim Dean of the Whitman School, I do so with tremendous thanks to Gene Anderson for the work he has done over the past five years. Looking ahead, a recurring question I am asked is what my mandate will be as Interim Dean. The answer is quite simple: full steam ahead. 

The Whitman School recently announced the appointment of Tracy Barash ’89 as Chair of the Whitman Advisory Council. Barash steps in to the role following four years of dedicated service by former chair, Lisa Fontenelli ’86.

The impact of Whitman alumni and friends cannot be overstated. You are integral to our students’ career exploration, preparation and placement. We extend our gratitude for all that you give and do.
