Syracuse Alumni and Parents Meet Admitted Students and Families Worldwide

This Spring, Syracuse University alumni and current parents gathered worldwide (20 countries) to meet and engage with admitted students and their families. These students and their families gained first-hand perspectives from those who have already experienced life at Syracuse. Check out the pictures!

Syracuse University annually celebrates the many global communities that make up the University community. The event features a diverse array of food, cultural exhibits, artistic presentations, and performances.

Syracuse University Department of Drama students traveled to Mexico to produce a play as part of a collaboration with CENTRO University. The collaboration gave students a look at how theater is made in other countries.

Aaron Lener ’27 is pursuing a double major in linguistic studies at the College of Arts and Sciences (A&S) and international relations at the Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs, along with a minor in Russian language, literature and culture at A&S. Lener is conducting a graduate-level research into a group of largely undocumented languages spoken in Nigeria.

Syracuse University London Lender Global Fellows have engaged in hands-on learning on environmental issues by visiting famous environmental sites and examining social justice topics focused on the environment.
