The Summer was a time of extraordinary adaptation and preparation at Whitman and the rest of the university. We have completed the first month of a Fall semester like no other. In a world seemingly overrun with troubling news, we have reason to remain cautiously optimistic that we will be able to stay together on campus through the end of the semester just before Thanksgiving.
