Syracuse Students Celebrate Lunar New Year on Campus

For many of Syracuse University students, the Lunar New Year, or Chinese New Year, is an opportunity to display the pride they feel in their culture and heritage to the campus community. Events showcasing Chinese culture to the campus community have included performance arts, cuisine and time-honored traditions.

Sai Krishna Bolla is a serial entrepreneur and an author. He is an obsessed learner with 18 different academic degrees and certifications. He is now pursuing a master’s degree in information systems, with a data science major, at Syracuse University’s iSchool.

Growing up in Thailand, Jenny Suwiwatchai, a fifth-year Syracuse student in the School of Architecture, has been interested in illustration, putting her thoughts on paper and creating stories, since the day she could draw.
