The Whitman School now ranks second worldwide for entrepreneurship research productivity according to the 2023 edition of the TCU Global University Entrepreneurship Research Productivity Rankings.

The Entrepreneurship and Emerging Enterprises 2022-2023 Annual Report is available online. The report includes a message from new Department Chair Maria Minniti and features faculty research that contributed to Whitman’s #2 global ranking by TCU. 

“We are pleased by the external validation that Whitman and our MBA program continue to receive through the rise in national rankings,” said Interim Dean Alex McKelvie of the seven-spot jump to No. 61 in Bloomberg Businessweek’s 2023-2024 ranking.

The 74th Annual Harry E. Salzberg Memorial Lecture Program will be held at Whitman on November 9. This year’s honorees are the Coca-Cola Company and Dr. Marshall Fisher of the Wharton School.

Cheer on the Orange football team against Pitt on November 11 in Yankee Stadium. Weekend activities include a program with Jim Boeheim, pre-game gathering and brunch at the Lubin House.

During Orange Central, Whitman hosted the ninth annual Orange Tank business pitch competition and awarded $45,000 in prizes thanks to the generosity of SU Life Trustee John Couri ’63 (A&S), H’08 and Aaron Krause ’92 (A&S).
