The digital version of the Spring 2024 issue of the Whitman magazine is now available. This issue focuses on Whitman’s commitment to creating a welcoming environment for all students and the initiatives that enrich the diversity of the School and prepare students for future success.

Whitman adopted NASA’s Technology Transfer University initiative in the spring of 2023 to bring NASA-developed technology into the classroom and challenge students to consider tech-based business concepts. The technology was on full display during the 2024 Spring Capstone competition.

The ’CUSE50 annual awards program recognizes the 50 fastest-growing businesses owned or led by Syracuse alumni. This year’s award ceremony will be held on November 14. Applications will be accepted through July 14.

Seventy-years ago, Whitman graduated the first class from its Defense Comptrollership Program (DCP), which welcomes active members and veterans of the U.S. military. Today, DCP graduates receive a dual degree with an MBA from Whitman and a master’s in public administration from the Maxwell School.

From September 12-15, there will be events and programming across campus as part of the Coming Back Together reunion weekend. Whitman looks forward to hosting alumni and friends for a networking luncheon with program updates and a speed mentoring session with students.
