Whitman faculty and alumni were among the 40 plus presenters at the recent Lender Center for Social Justice Symposium supported by the MetLife Foundation. The two-day forum examined structural and systemic factors that have contributed to the wealth gap for communities of color.

Thanks to alumni support, two new majors, retail and supply chain management, were added to Whitman’s NYC exploration offerings in January. Alumni hosted students on site visits, attended networking events and shared career insights. 

Ed Pettinella G’76, Syracuse University Trustee and Whitman Advisory Council member, and his family have made a $3 million leadership gift to the John A. Lally Athletics Complex and JMA Wireless Dome Transformation Project.

The Whitman School is hosting an evening with Syracuse University alumni, students, staff, faculty and friends in Tokyo on Sunday, May 21. The evening will include a panel discussion and dinner.

For the second consecutive year, the Whitman School has been ranked No. 34 in the nation for its undergraduate program by Poets&Quants establishing it as a top 35 national program.
