Lender Center Symposium Racial Wealth Gap

Whitman faculty and alumni were among the 40 plus presenters at the recent Lender Center for Social Justice Symposium supported by the MetLife Foundation. The two-day forum examined structural and systemic factors that have contributed to the wealth gap for communities of color.

Thanks to alumni support, two new majors, retail and supply chain management, were added to Whitman’s NYC exploration offerings in January. Alumni hosted students on site visits, attended networking events and shared career insights.
