The inaugural Whitman School Dean’s Sustainable Development Goals Innovation Challenge was held this spring. Thirty-one teams participated in the semester-long initiative with eight finalists presenting and $25,000 in cash prizes awarded on April 18.

On Thursday, April 25, our annual Whitman Day celebration brought alumni and friends together around the country in-person and virtually. If you missed the Fireside Chat with Professor Koveos or the Conversation on Leadership with Coach Legette-Jack ’89, you can watch both online. 

This year’s Panasci Business Plan Competition was held on April 5 with a total of $40,000 in prize money awarded to student teams from across campus who demonstrated the best potential for growth and attracting outside financing.

Five students working at Whitman’s Couri Hatchery Student Business Incubator made it through the regional level of the New York State Business Plan Competition. They will compete for up to $100,000 in cash prizes to support their ventures.

From a service project in New York City to a meet and greet with Cuse Football Coach Fran Brown in LA, there will be many opportunities for Syracuse University alumni and friends to gather this summer. The University has set the dates for fall reunion and family weekends. Coming Back Together is set for Sept. 12-15, Family Weekend will be Sept. 27-29, and Orange Central will welcome alumni back to campus Nov. 1-3.
