Syracuse Students Win Busan International Architectural Design Workshop Grand Prize

A  team of fifth-year Syracuse University School of Architecture students have won the grand prize at this year’s Busan International Architectural Design Workshop. The workshop, which is typically held over a period of one week at a university in South Korea, was modified into a three-month long online competition this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Syracuse University Professor Vir Phoha Elected as a National Academy of Inventors Fellow

Syracuse University College of Engineering and Computer Science (ECS) Professor Vir Phoha has been elected a fellow of the National Academy of Inventors (NAI). Recognized globally as one of the top computer scientists in behavioral and continuous authentication, Phoha’s research has enabled millions of online transactions to be conducted safely. Syracuse University Professor Yeqing Wang Receives Award to Support Research on Lightning Resistant Composite Materials

Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering Professor Yeqing Wang was recently selected as a recipient of a competitive 2020-2021 Ralph E. Powe Junior Faculty Enhancement Award from the Oak Ridge Associated Universities. The award will help fund Wang’s research into making the next generation of composite materials more lightning resistant. Learn more about his research.
