The Whitman School received the 2024 “Inspiring Programs in Business Award” from Insight Into Diversity magazine. The award honors colleges and universities that encourage and assist students from underrepresented groups to enter the field of business. 

Inside Higher Ed recently featured the Nass Mental Health Initiative funded by David ’91 and Dina ’91 (A&S) Nass to provide students and graduates with tools and resources to promote mental wellbeing. 

Syracuse University Giving Day 2024 is set for March 27. Interim Dean Alex McKelvie will host a virtual update at 12 p.m. ET via Zoom to share news, accolades and ways alumni and friends can support Whitman’s continued success.

The WISE Women’s Business Center has been designated one of 24 Entrepreneurship Assistance Centers in New York through a grant awarded by Empire State Development. The grant will be used to support WISE’s intensive course for early-stage female founders.

The Whitman IMPACT Speaker Series recently hosted David Owen, executive vice president and head of global operations for Wells Fargo. The recording of Owen’s talk is now available online for viewing.

The Syracuse University 50th and 60th Reunion Celebration will be held on campus April 10-13 and will include exclusive programs for the Classes of 1964 and 1974! Registration and event details can be found on the reunion event page. 

With the release of the 2024 ‘Cuse Football schedule, the University has set the dates for fall reunion and family weekends. Coming Back Together is set for Sept. 12-15, Family Weekend will be Sept. 27-29, and Orange Central will welcome alumni back to campus Nov. 1-3.
