New Federal Requirements for Research Security Training

Federal agencies are now requiring researchers in senior/key personnel roles on federally funded or proposed projects to complete research security training before submitting proposals. Beginning Wednesday, Oct. 1, the Office of Sponsored Programs (OSP) will enforce this requirement for all federal proposals. Outstanding training completions by any senior/key personnel named in the proposal may delay or prevent OSP from submitting the proposal to the sponsor by the submission deadline. To access the training or for more information, visit the Research Security Training webpage.
