Syracuse University Named a Fulbright Top Producing Institution for Third Consecutive Year

This is the fifth time—and third year in a row—Syracuse University was named a Fulbright Top Producing Institution. Seventeen students from Syracuse University were selected for Fulbright research, study and teaching awards to Andorra, Argentina, Germany, India, Italy, Kenya, Korea, Mexico, Poland, Spain, Tajikistan and the United Kingdom.

Professor Johan Wiklund was recently listed as one of the most prolific business and economic research scholars globally. Wiklund was ranked No. 32 on the Financial Times’ Top 50 academic and practitioner journals.

Ansca Pakop LL.M.’25 is proud to be the first person from Papua New Guinea to attend the Syracuse University College of Law. A working attorney for over a decade, Pakop has a LL.B., MBA and a master’s degree in economics and public policy from the University of Papua New Guinea.

Assistant Professor Endadul Hoque, and Ph.D. student, Polina Kozyreva, have received the Best Paper Award at the International Workshop on Search-Based and Fuzz Testing. The SBFT 2025 workshop was held in Ottawa, Canada.

Maggie Sardino ’23 is part of Lender Global, a fellowship offered by the Lender Center for Social Justice and Syracuse Abroad. As a research mentor, Sardino is working with student fellows to explore how London creatively tackles sustainability challenges.

Chidinma Chikwe ’25 MBA came to the Whitman School from Nigeria after earning a bachelor’s degree in international studies and diplomacy and a master’s degree in cultural studies, as well as several years working with international global advocacy and human rights organizations in Africa and Europe.
