Syracuse Students in China Benefit from New Partnership

Across the U.S. an astonishing number of international students face significant challenges in finishing their degrees. Syracuse University has partnered with Interlearn to offer innovative and collaborative learning through a new program called International Year One.

Adya Parida applied to Syracuse University through a scholarship program from her high school back in India. The Next Genius Scholarship program was partnered with Syracuse University for Indian students who wanted to study abroad. After a series of interviews, Parida came to Syracuse University with a full tuition scholarship to study Computer Science.

Zhang, a longtime professor in the College of Engineering and Computer Science, will lead research activity and operations at the downtown SyracuseCoE building and serve as principal investigator for the New York State Department of Economic Development contract.
