Effective July 1, Alexander McKelvie, associate dean for undergraduate and master’s education and professor of entrepreneurship, will serve as interim dean, following the departure of current Dean Eugene Anderson.

“From Campus to Community” is the theme of the Spring 2022 Whitman magazine. This issue shares stories of students engaging in the local community and alumni who call Syracuse home and put their skills and leadership to work in Central New York.

Whitman is pleased to announce the appointment of 11 new members to the Young Whitman Advisory Council, and we extend our thanks to nine members who recently concluded their terms. 

Whitman has partnered with Management Leadership for Tomorrow to increase awareness and educational and career support for underrepresented minority students through personal guidance and coaching. 

Syracuse University and JMA Wireless announced a 10-year partnership for naming rights of the University’s iconic on-campus stadium. For the first time since the venue opened its doors in 1980, the stadium will have a new name.
