Whitman and Maxwell Announce Joint Master’s Program

The Whitman School of Management and the Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs have announced a joint graduate program. The M.S. in sustainable organizations and policy, a STEM-designated program, will launch its first cohort on campus this Fall.

Alumna Brings Real-World Project with Reebok to Whitman Classroom

A collaboration with Reebok and Whitman allows students in a data analytics and decision-making class to gain real-world experience. This partnership was made possible thanks to Jasmine Bellamy ’92, Reebok’s VP of merchandising, planning, and allocation and leader of community and culture.

Whitman’s Undergraduate Program Ranked #36 in Nation

Whitman was ranked #36 among all undergraduate business schools and #22 among private universities in the nation by Poets&Quants for 2024. Rankings were based on criteria such as admissions standards, career outcomes and academic experience.

April Arnzen of Micron First Whitman IMPACT Speaker

Whitman recently hosted April Arnzen, executive VP and chief people officer at Micron Technology, to launch the IMPACT Speaker Series and to engage with students, faculty and staff. Highlights of Arnzen’s fireside chat with Vice Chancellor Mike Haynie are now available online.

Tracy Barash ’89 to Be Honored as SU Volunteer of the Year

The university has announced the Spring 2024 awards honorees. Among those to be recognized during the April 12 celebration on campus is Tracy Barash ’89, chair of the Whitman Advisory Council, who will receive the new Volunteer of the Year Award for her exemplary commitment to SU.

Fall 2024 Reunion and Family Weekend Dates Set

2024 Fall Weekends

With the release of the 2024 ‘Cuse Football schedule, the University has set the dates for fall reunion and family weekends. Coming Back Together is set for Sept. 12-15, Family Weekend will be Sept. 27-29, and Orange Central will welcome alumni back to campus Nov. 1-3

Pre-CBT Reception Set for Feb. 29 in New York City

Whitman is looking forward to hosting alumni and friends for a networking luncheon and student mentorship session during Coming Back Together 2024. In advance of the reunion on campus, SU will host events and programs including a Pre-CBT Reception on Feb. 29 in New York City.

Beyond Boeheim Event to Coincide with ACC Tourney in D.C.

Beyond Boeheim event will be held in D.C. on Feb. 11 before the ACC Men’s Basketball Tournament tips off. Coach Boeheim will sit down for a moderated conversation and reflect on his commitment to Syracuse University, Central New York and what it means to be Forever Orange.
