Update from the Office of Research Integrity and Protections (ORIP) RECR

Several federal funding agencies, such as the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and the National Science Foundation (NSF), require certain individuals participating in projects funded by those agencies to receive training in the Responsible and Ethical Conduct of Research (RECR). To adapt to recent changes in training requirements, ORIP has revised the RECR training plan and will be reaching out to researchers who must complete new training. The course is open to teams of one to three persons having early-stage innovations. Syracuse University teams consisting of faculty, postdocs, graduate and undergraduate students (especially those with University-affiliated technology) will be given preference, although registration is open to all.
