Syracuse University Signs MOU with University of Seoul

A delegation of leaders from the University of Seoul visited Syracuse University to sign a memorandum of understanding (MOU) that will advance and expand academic and cultural collaboration and exchange between the two institutions. 

A student delegation recently represented the People’s Republic of China at the National Model United Nations (UN) Conference in Washington, D.C. They discussed issues at the forefront of international relations and participated in debates. 

Romita Ray, associate professor of art history in Syracuse University’s College of Arts and Sciences, helped convene a symposium to discuss new perspectives on the history of Victoria Memorial Hall. 

Professor Bing Dong, associate professor of mechanical and aerospace engineering, leads the way in smart building design, operation and energy efficiency. 

Sanggeun Lee ’24 Ph.D,  a doctoral student in entrepreneurship at the Whitman School, focuses his research on the impact of subsidies and low-interest loans initiated in South Korea to spur entrepreneurism among young people.
