They join an impressive alumni family that shares in the College’s long-standing tradition of community engagement and social justice. | In our community | | | | Because the majority of sodium consumed is present in foods prior to their purchase and preparation, the Health Department and Falk College partnered to create “Flavor and Savor” sodium reduction sessions for local agencies and schools to lower sodium intake from prepared foods as well as when making recipes from scratch. | Switzer’s message urges boldness, inclusion Honorary degree recipient Kathrine Switzer ’68, G’72 delivered the keynote address at the 2018 Commencement ceremonies in the Dome on May 13. Switzer was a junior at Syracuse University when she made history in 1967 as the first woman to officially enter and run the Boston Marathon. Watch her Commencement address. |
