Message from the Dean

Falk College Dean Jeremy S. Jordan

Greetings from Syracuse!

This has been a Fall semester like no other at Falk College as we move closer to becoming the David B. Falk College of Sport – the first college on a high-research activity campus (R1) to focus on sport-related disciplines.

Meanwhile, Syracuse University recently announced a go-forward plan to reshape the future of Falk’s human dynamics programs and reposition them for short- and long-term success. These changes will go into effect July 1, 2025.

I’m proud to say that from the outside looking in, you’d never know that we’re undergoing a significant transformation. Please take a moment to read this newsletter and you’ll see that our students and faculty continue to excel in all programs, and they will continue to make us proud wherever they are located on our campus.

Wishing you and yours a safe and wonderful holiday season!

Jeremy S. Jordan, Ph.D.
Dean, Falk College
