Professor Zhen Ma Researches What Drugs Cause Birth Defects

Zhen Ma was appointed as an assistant professor of engineering at Syracuse University in 2016. He set up his own lab which has attracted prestigious grants from the National Science Foundation and the National Institutes of Health to develop a platform and system for testing how various drugs might affect a developing human embryo.
