Office of Research Updates

Federal Government Updates

Developments related to federal government grants and contracts are being updated on our SharePoint page. Information is available about executive orders and regulatory guidance, FAQs and guidance from individual agencies.

Important Information Regarding Federal Government Shutdown
As a result of the federal government shutdown, actions requiring federal approval (no-cost extensions, budget revisions, new subawards, etc.) will likely be postponed. Assume that proposal submission and reporting deadlines remain unchanged unless formally modified by sponsoring agencies, though agency staff may be unavailable to confirm receipt, approve reports or provide guidance. OSP will continue providing proposal and award support throughout the shutdown. If you receive official communications regarding your federally-sponsored award or have any questions, please submit them to vpr@syr.edu
